Elijah Bristow in Black & White

So, I admit it... I know its a fad, but I like taking pictures. My family is of course fun to shoot, but what captures my creative spirit most is our earth. She is so beautiful! Every time I am out in her natural spaces I can't help but be in aw of her creative power. Earth inspires me to change, and helps me to grow closer to my Heavenly Father.

I am a painter that never paints. It requires a lot of my time, money and the patience of my children (all of which I have little of).
I recently bought a camera for jewelry business purposes. I'm just beginning to understand how my camera works and can already see that it will be a wonderful outlet for the painter in me.

Anyway, here are some pictures I took at Elijah Bristow State Park just outside of Eugene!

Hanging out!

Just a regular day at our house.

Elijah climbs in his bed so blue can't eat his food :)

New Hair!

New Hair! I tried to cut a little hair out of Elijah's eyes, but of course he wiggled (he is 2 years old you know). So here it is, before and afters:

He's just cute no matter what!

Snow Day!

Snow at the end of March?! Yes, it happened! We woke completely covered in unexpected beautiful fluffy snow! Eric couldn't make it out of the driveway for work, trees came down and our power was out for 2 days! For two nights we had a slumber party at Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house.
Can you tell which tree we thought for sure would fall on us?

This tree was popping and cracking all morning! YIKES!
Dad's truck is stuck!

 Downed tree!
 Baillie's in love!
Elijah is enchanted!

St. Patty's Day

Goodness, I need to go through pictures before I have 20 events to post and blog about! I think I will start with St. Patrick's Day. Keeping the theme of the little people and all things green, we went for a family hike in a beautiful forest up hwy 58.

All buckled in and nostrils flared!
